PITT COUNTY, NC – A Robersonville man was arrested and booked under a $1.5 million bond after detectives reportedly found more than 249 grams of cocaine in his possession.
Gustavo Bustamante Azamar, 37, of 1748 Big Oak Road was charged with two counts of maintaining a dwelling or place for sale of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in cocaine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release issued by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
Narcotics Unit detectives concluded a four-month investigation on March 10 with Azamar’s arrest. According to the release, Azamar was found to be in possession of about 249.5 grams of cocaine.
Azamar was booked into the Pitt County Detention Center on March 11, according to online records. He currently is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1.5 million secured bond.
