‘DREAMER’ Raped 13-Year-Old Girl In North Carolina

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WRAL) – Fayetteville police arrested a 16-year-old on Friday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a traveling carnival.

Police said Diomar Ramos-Gonzales, of Fayetteville, was charged with second-degree sex offense and second-degree kidnapping after an incident at the carnival. He was jailed under a $25,000 secured bond.

Fayetteville officers responded just before 10 p.m. to the carnival in the 6900 block of Cliffdale Road after a report of a child who has been sexually assaulted.

Police said the girl went to the carnival and met Ramos-Gonzalez. The victim did not know Ramos-Gonzalez before the alleged incident.

After meeting, Ramos-Gonzalez walked the victim away from the carnival and pulled her behind a building, where he sexually assaulted her, according to police. The victim was able to get away and eventually made contact with a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

Responding officers located Ramos-Gonzalez and took him into custody.
